Carry on from our September p-DRP-0057 project blog, the scratch built transmitter unit holds various electronic components including Xbee, sensors and signal status LEDs. We will talk about the installation onto our model here.
This is what what we imagine the installation will look like, with LED see through from model windshield. The two LEDs show (i) Status of wireless data communications and (ii) Overall monitoring status.
Our p-DRP-0057 project is going on stronger than before, we hope to get a working unit running and tested before Winter. It is entirely doable but the leaves are falling fast and we need to work harder!
p-DRP-0057 is a telemetry and monitoring system for remote control model, a scaled down derivative embedded software development from our core business project on telemetry. (Hey, there is always time for play!!!) The system features a micro-controller driven telemetry and sensing module installed on the model, the module relays data captured (includes RC signal to servos and various on-board sensors.) to a Windows console running Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.
